Do YOU believe?

I am so saddened by a comment Lily made to me the other day. She said that kids at her school were saying that Santa is not real because you can't see him (she will be 6 years old on Christmas, BTW). Luckily, she didn't point blank ask me if this was the case or not, because I'm not sure how I would've answered it. Somehow, I dodged the bullet and was able to change the subject without her noticing. So, I was off to find a copy of The Polar Express to help her keep believing. We set the girls up in front of our big screen television in the basement tonight with the lights turned off. They also had popcorn, chocolate milk and a comfy blankie for the big viewing. They loved it. Actually, so did we. I hope we can at least get a couple of more years of believing out of her.

They are TOO young not to believe : ( Paige is 10 and she is on the fence. She SO wants to believe, but is starting to question the logistics of it all. I just tell her that Santa lives in all of our hearts and those who believe, receive : )

We also used the elf on the shelf this year and that has been a HUGE booster!

Good luck!

I have never seen the Polar Express. I will have to get that one for Katie. I LOVE having a little one at Christmas and want her to believe as long as I can get her to.

Oh, she is just a baby!! She has to believe for a few more years!

Liam is nine and I know he has a clue- but is afraid if he admits it he won't get the goods! HAHA!!

Heck- I believe!

I love the way Polar Express ends...with the adult narrator saying he still believes in the spirit of Santa Claus.

I too will be sad when my daughter stops believing in Santa...but I know it's not this year at least!
